NUIC Joins the Summer Novice Ordination 2019

On Thursday, 4 April 2019 at 08.30 – 10.30 a.m., Miss Saranporn Kirdkoh, Deputy Director for Administration, Naresuan University International College (NUIC) together with the NUIC administrators, lecturers, and staff participated in a Summer Novice Ordination 2019 as guest speakers during March 30 – April 10, 2019, at Buddhachinaraj College Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Bueng Phra Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phitsanulok Province.

NUIC is grateful to be invited in this summer ordination. Also, NUIC appreciates the help from NUIC lecturers and staff in helping teach the novice monks.

Summer Novice Ordination is an annual summer training course that prepares male youth for temporary ordination as novice monks organized by Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat Woramahawihan as a part of the royal charity dedicated to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

The program was in compliance with the goal to develop novice monks into wholesome adults through Buddhist teachings. There are 250 novice monks that participated in the summer novice ordination this year.
