NUIC warmly welcomed Mr. Maxmilian Schuchlenz for a short-term program at NUIC under the “Mobility in Actions of Students and Professor.” He is joining classes in International Business Management (Business Finance, Principles of Management and Foreign Direct Investment) for two weeks (July 8 – July 19, 2019). Naresuan University International College (NUIC) joined the Naresuan University community in the ceremony celebrating Her Majesty the Queen Suthida’s birthday. NUIC headed by Dr. Eugenia A. Boa, Deputy Director for Research and International Relations, together with the supporting staff joined in sending well wishes to Her Majesty. Prof. Dr. Kanchana Ngourungsri delivered the best wishes on behalf of NU. There was also offering food to the monks on the special occasion.
Naresuan University International College (NUIC) sat with the Faculty of Engineering, Naresuan University to discuss about the possible collaboration on a new undergraduate international program. NUIC agreed to collaborate with teaching general education courses in English. The meeting took place on May 28, 2019 at the Faculty of Engineering.
On behalf of NUIC administrators, staff, students and alumni, with profound grief, we regretfully inform Naresuan University community that Assoc. Prof. Somsri Ingkaninun, former special lecturer of NUIC in the field of Tourism Business Management from 2004 – 2011 passed away on May 25, 2019. The NUIC community participated the funeral on May 25-27, 2019 at Sala 11, Wat That Thong, Phra Aram Luang, Wattana District, Bangkok. The cremation was held on May 28, 2019, 13.00 pm at the crematorium of Wat That Thong. Congratulations to Ms.Pema Tshomo, the 4th year student majoring Tourism Business Management, Nareauan University International College on the occasion of winner the first runner-up award from the Undergraduate Thesis Innovation Contest 2019, Humanities and Social Sciences Cluster, in the topic of “Perception and Attitude of Foreign Tourists towards Dark Tourism Sites in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, under supervision of Ajarn Phisunt Tinakhat. On the occasion of the 26th Anniversary and the opening of the Unit of Startup and Innovation Services (USiS) of the Faculty of Engineering, Naresuan University on Wednesday, 22 May 2019, at 09.15 am. Dr. Supichaya Meesad, Director of Naresuan University International College (NUIC), Aj. Saranporn Kirdkoh, Deputy Director for Administration of NUIC together with the NUIC administrations and staff joined in the merit-making ceremony. On the auspicious occasion, Honorary Prof. Dr. Kanchana Ngourungsi, President of Naresuan University presided over the ceremony.
In an effort to promote research and at the same time assist NUIC researchers in their quest to conducting research, a workshop on filling-in forms submitted to Institutional Review Board (IRB) was conducted on May 21, 2019 at 10:00 -12:00, NUIC Meeting Room. Dr. Chamaiporn Srisuat was the guest speaker. The main objectives of the workshop were to familiarize the lecturers on the required forms submitted to NU-IRB and to help lecturers in supervising the student’s undergraduate thesis. The NUIC Human Resources Unit held a Knowledge Management training for supporting staff about ‘Google Drive and One Drive’ on the 10th of May 2019, 10 am- 11am at NUIC Computer room led by Dr. Chamaiporn Srisurat and Mr. Yodsathorn Bodeerat. In this training, NUIC supporting staff had a chance to learn how to keep all their work in one place, view different file formats, access their files from anywhere, and share them with colleagues.
