The Research Skills Development Project for NUIC Lecturers and Supporting Staff

In an effort to fulfill one of the commitments of NUIC, the Research and Academic Services Section organized the Research Skills Development Project on August 29, 2019 from 9:00 – 3:00 p.m. at NUIC Meeting Room. New Lecturer Orientation

The NUIC held a lecturer orientation on August 23, 2019 to officially welcome the new lecturers at NUIC: Dr. Oleg Shovkovyy (IBM major), Ms. Anna Stepanova (Tourism major) and Ms. Sopit Jenpradab (EBC major). Topics discussed included the four main responsibilities of lecturers at Naresuan University: teaching, research, academic services and preservation of arts and culture. Dr. Eugenia A. 30 Careers for the 30th Anniversary of NU: An Exhibition

The Naresuan University International College (NUIC) headed by Dr. Supichaya Meesad (Director) together with Dr. Eugenia A. Boa (Deputy Director for Research and International Relations) joined the opening ceremony of the NU’s Exhibition on 30 careers for society on August 15, 2019, 9:00 a.m. at Ekatosarot Building. There were booths which showcased 30 interesting careers that society can engaged in. The NU President, Professor Dr. Kanchana Ngourungsi presided the ceremony.

NUIC STAR 2019 Singing Competition

Big congratulations to all the winners of the recently concluded NUIC Star 2019 Singing and Cheering Competitions! The NUIC Academic Services Section organized a singing competition on August 19, 2019, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Faculty of Science, Naresuan University which coincided with the celebration of the Science Week. The main objectives of this singing competition were: 1) To provide opportunity for high school students to enhance their English competency; 2) To motivate students to use English language; and 3) To promote NUIC at the same time. Anabuki College Visited NUIC

On August 6, 2019, Dr. Supichaya Meesad, Ms. Rachatawan Limkanchanapa, and Mrs. Yukiko Vorasingha had welcomed the representatives from Anabuki College (Japan), Mr. Shinichiro Ikeshita and Ms. Sataporn Tantanee. The discussion included the programs exchange information as such Anabuki College offers many Japanese courses, Vocational programs, and Japan Study Short Trip. As NUIC has offered Japanese courses for NUIC students as a third language, the students who would like to further their study in Japan would be able to study short courses as well as opportunities have part-time job in Japan.

NUIC Students in Cultural Exchange in SSC-R, Manila

Ten (10) students from Naresuan University International College (NUIC) successfully joined the 14-day cultural exchange on July 14 – 27, 2019 in San Sebastian College-Recoletos, Manila, Philippines along with two (2) lecturers and a staff, Ajarn Saranporn Kirdkoh, Ajarn Chayanee Suechaicharoen and Ms. Saovanee Sittisomboon accompanied the students. IBM Seminar on Cross- Cultural Work in International Business Naresaun University International College (NUIC) is honored to have Mr. Somboon Vivatchaikul, Customer Marketing Manager of Mars Wrigley Confectionary, Thailand as a guest speaker for International Business Management (IBM) and NUIC students. This seminar offered a good opportunity for students to understand and know how to work with people with diverse culture. NUIC Joins the Ceremony Celebrating His Majesty the King’s Birthday

Naresuan University International College (NUIC) joined the Naresuan University community in the ceremony celebrating His Majesty the King’s birthday. NUIC headed by Dr. Supichaya Meesad (NUIC Director), Dr. Eugenia A. Boa (Deputy Director for Research and International Relations), and together with the supporting staff joined in sending well wishes to His Majesty. NUIC Joins the Merit-Making Ceremony of the Faculty of Business Economics and communications, NU

On the occasion of the 27th Anniversary of the Faculty of Business Economics and communications, Naresuan University on Monday, 22 July 2019, at 09.00 am. Dr. Supichaya Meesad, Director of Naresuan University International College (NUIC), Aj. Saranporn Kirdkoh, Deputy Director for Administration of NUIC together with the NUIC administrations and staff joined in the merit-making ceremony. On the auspicious occasion, General Dr. Siri Thiwaphan, Deputy Chairman, Naresuan University Council presided over the ceremony.

NUIC Co-hosts the 4th TICC International Conference

The Naresuan University International College (NUIC) co-hosted the recently concluded 4th Thailand International College Consortium International Conference (TICCIC) on July 11 – 12, 2019 at the Amari Pattaya Hotel in Chonburi, Thailand. The main co-host for this year was Burapha University International College (BUIC). The consortium of international colleges include Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC), Prince of Songkla University International College (PSU, Hatyai and Phuket Campuses), NUIC and BUIC.
