Naresuan University welcomed the New Year on January 9, 2026, with an alms-giving event. The ceremony took place in the garden outside the Office of the President building. Members of the university community came together to offer dry food and rice to 36 monks and novices.

Naresuan University International College (NUIC) participated in this special event. Associate Professor Dr. Sirimas Hengrasamee, the Director of NUIC, and Assistant Professor Fuangfa Panya, Ph.D., Deputy Director for Planning, Research, and Development, attended, along with other NUIC staff members.

This event highlighted the university’s commitment to promoting unity, goodwill, and cultural values as it welcomed 2026 with gratitude.
