Building on a foundation of international synergy, Naresuan University International College (NUIC) recently hosted Professor Berna Kirkulak-Uludag of Dokuz Eylul University (DEU), Turkiye, from January 22 to 24, 2026.
Professor Kirkulak-Uludag, a distinguished scholar and Head of the International Business and Trade Department at DEU’s Business Faculty (Tinaztepe Campus, Buca, Izmir), visited the campus to solidify what has become a cornerstone partnership for the college’s global outreach.
The relationship between Naresuan University and Dokuz Eylul University reached a pivotal milestone last year with the joint submission of a Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project to ERASMUS+ on February 6, 2025. This visit served as a vital follow-up to ensure the momentum of that collaboration continues to yield tangible academic opportunities for students and faculty alike.
The three-day itinerary was packed with high-level discussions aimed at bridging the gap between Turkish and Thai higher education: Prof. Kirkulak-Uludag was received by NUIC Executives and Program Chairs. The session highlighted the mutual commitment to fostering an environment of global linkage. A core focus of the visit was the review of final terms for the NU-DEU Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This agreement is expected to facilitate seamless student exchanges and joint research initiatives. With the 2025 project submission as a backdrop, discussions shifted toward upcoming mobility grants and sustainable cooperation under the ERASMUS+ framework.
