NUIC was awarded the Outstanding Organization Award for Securing the Highest External Research Funding, highlighting the college’s strong commitment to research excellence and its impactful collaborations with external partners. Dr. Nongnuch Boonklum, Director of NUIC, accepted the award from Professor Dr.Kornkanok Ingkaninan Vice President for Research and Innovation Development.

In addition, Ms. Saranporn Kirdkoh, a lecturer in the International Business Management (IBM) Program, received the Outstanding Researcher Award for Securing the Highest External Research Funding. This award recognizes her remarkable success in attracting competitive research funding. Her research is titled “An AI-Enhanced Citizen Science System for Responding to and Managing Environmental Pollution Emergencies on the SRI Intelligence Platform.”

The award presentation ceremony took place during the 22nd National Academic Conference: Naresuan Research and Innovation on July 24, 2026, at the KNECC Building.
