Strengthening Global Friendship Through Culinary Heritage 🇹🇭🤝🇮🇩
As part of the NUIC–UNY Student Exchange Program 2026, Naresuan University International College (NUIC) was delighted to welcome students and faculty members from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), Indonesia, for an enriching intercultural experience.
One of the program highlights was a hands-on Thai cooking workshop led by NUIC staff, where participants learned to prepare two of Thailand’s most beloved dishes—Som Tum (Thai Green Papaya Salad) and Tom Kha Gai (Thai Coconut Chicken Soup). Beyond learning authentic recipes and traditional cooking techniques, the workshop provided a meaningful opportunity to connect through culture, strengthen international friendships, and celebrate Thailand’s rich culinary heritage.
At NUIC, we believe that the most meaningful learning extends beyond the classroom. Through cultural exchange and shared experiences, we continue to foster global perspectives, lifelong friendships, and lasting international partnerships.
