Third Language

Learn a third language and open up a world of opportunities

At NUIC, you can learn a third language in addition to English and Thai. This is a valuable skill in today's globalized world, and it can open up many doors for your future.

Here are just a few of the benefits of learning a third language:

Increased job prospects: Employers are increasingly looking for multilingual employees. Learning a third language can give you a competitive edge in the job market.
Improved cognitive function: Studies have shown that learning a third language can improve your memory, concentration, and problem-solving skills.
Enhanced cultural understanding: Learning a third language gives you a deeper understanding of the culture of the people who speak it. This can help you build stronger relationships and collaborate more effectively with people from different backgrounds.
NUIC offers a variety of third language courses, including Chinese, German, Japanese, and Korean. All courses are taught by experienced and qualified instructors, and they use a variety of teaching methods to help you learn effectively.
If you are a native Thai speaker, you will be required to take a third language course as part of your studies. If you are a student from abroad, you may choose to take a Thai language course or any other language course except your native language.

All third language courses are offered as a 5-module course, which leads to mastering the basic level of language proficiency (e.g., HSK2 in Chinese, A2 in German, and TOPIK2 in Korean). You will learn how to communicate in a variety of everyday situations, such as booking hotel rooms, going shopping, talking about travel and hobbies, and socializing. You will also learn how to write short emails and texts.

Among the 5 language courses that are available in NUIC is Korean. With the boom of K-pop, Korean food and Korean culture, the demand for Korean speakers is growing more than ever. With that in consideration, NUIC has prepared an intensive Korean language course curated and taught by our South Korean lecturer with more than 10 years of experience teaching students. Join us in learning how to write, converse in the language and experience authentic Korean culture.
